Congressman Morgan Luttrell has recently shared updates on border security, local industry, and law enforcement efforts through his official Twitter account.

On September 22, Luttrell stated, “August marked the fourth straight month of ZERO border releases. America is safer — and more secure — under Republican leadership.” The following day, he highlighted the longstanding operations of a Texas-based company: “Nearly 100 years of producing high-quality salts right here in Hockley, TX. Fascinating to learn about United Salt’s operations 1,600 feet below the surface.” On September 24, Luttrell praised federal agents for their recent actions and expressed concern for those affected by an incident in Dallas: “Our ICE agents have heroically stepped up to restore law and order in our communities. Praying for all those impacted this morning in Dallas.”

Morgan Luttrell represents Texas’s 8th congressional district. He secured his seat after defeating Laura Jones in both the 2022 and 2024 general elections with over two-thirds of the vote each time.
