Congressman Morgan Luttrell, representing Texas’ 8th district, has taken to social media recently to express his views on legislative matters and extend holiday greetings. With a focus on accountability in programs aiding veterans and personal messages to his constituents, Luttrell continues his service in the U.S. Congress, having assumed office in 2023 after Kevin Brady.
On April 17, Luttrell addressed the necessity for accountability and effectiveness in veteran support programs, stating, “This bill is about accountability and results. We need to know which programs are actually saving lives so we can invest in what works and get our veterans the support they deserve.”
In a solemn message on April 18, the Congressman commemorated Good Friday, reflecting on its significance, “Today, we remember the ultimate sacrifice. Wishing you and your families a peaceful and reflective Good Friday.”

Morgan Luttrell, born in Houston, Texas, in 1975, currently resides in Magnolia. He is an alumnus of Sam Houston State University, where he graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree.
