On January 25, 2025, Congressman Luttrell expressed his support for the newly appointed Secretary of Defense. He stated: “Congratulations to my friend and new Secretary of Defense, @PeteHegseth! Two days later, on January 27, 2025, he commended the efforts of Tom Homan and ICE agents under the Trump Administration. He remarked: “Fantastic work by Tom Homan, ICE agents, and the Trump Admin. We are making America safe again.”
Later that day, Luttrell acknowledged International Holocaust Remembrance Day with a somber message about historical atrocities.
