Congressman Morgan Luttrell has recently posted several updates on social media addressing ongoing issues related to the federal government shutdown and the second anniversary of the October 7th attacks.
On October 6, 2025, Luttrell wrote, “Confused on where we stand with the government shutdown? Here’s a quick refresher. https://t.co/yUJ44rVq3Z”.
The following day, October 7, 2025, he marked the anniversary of a significant international event, stating, “It’s been two years since the horrific attacks of October 7th. 48 hostages still remain in Hamas captivity. We must bring them home. https://t.co/nwv6RqDWiS”.
On October 8, 2025, Luttrell addressed the economic impact of the ongoing federal government shutdown, writing, “Each week the federal government remains shut down, Texas’s Gross State Product will decline by $1.4 billion. Unnecessary damage caused solely by Democrat dysfunction and partisan politics.”
Morgan Luttrell has represented his district after winning consecutive general elections against Laura Jones in both 2022 and 2024, securing over two-thirds of the vote each time.
