Congressman Morgan Luttrell, who has represented his district since defeating Laura Jones in both the 2022 and 2024 general elections, recently posted a series of statements on social media addressing tax policy, border security, and veterans’ mental health.

On September 7, 2025, Luttrell stated: “No taxes on tips. Bigger paychecks. Permanent relief. President Trump and Republicans delivered for working families.”

The following day, September 8, he contrasted immigration enforcement between parties: “Democrats’ first six months in power (2021): 1,036,395 illegal crossings Republicans’ first six months in power (2025): 64,334 illegal crossings Same border. Different results. Different leadership.”

On September 9, Luttrell highlighted efforts to support veterans: “Our veterans fought for us — we must fight for them. Here in Washington working to address our veteran mental health crisis which claims the lives of 17 heroes each day.”

Luttrell’s comments come after securing re-election victories over Laura Jones in both the 2022 and 2024 races with more than two-thirds of the vote each time.
