Born in Houston, Texas in 1975 and residing in Magnolia, Luttrell has been vocal about border security and recent events impacting communities.
On July 7, Congressman Luttrell expressed his support for Border Patrol agents through a post stating “Border Patrol agents risk their lives to keep our communities safe and the border secure. May God bless these officers who work tirelessly to protect America’s security.”
The following day, on July 8, he highlighted a significant development concerning border crossings. In his post, he noted that “Border Patrol announced record-low border crossing numbers in June — validating that presidential leadership matters. At our current pace, it takes a full month to reach the daily total under the Biden administration. Strong leadership produces strong results.”
Later on July 8, Congressman Luttrell addressed a tragic event at Camp Mystic with empathy for those affected. He wrote “The devastation at Camp Mystic is heartbreaking. It’s every parent’s worst nightmare. Please continue to pray for the families and our first responders who are still on the ground searching for survivors.”
