Congressman Morgan Luttrell, representing Texas’ 8th district since 2023, recently shared updates through his social media platform. Luttrell, who succeeded Kevin Brady in Congress, highlighted several events and recognitions in his constituency.

On May 16, 2025, Congressman Luttrell acknowledged the achievements of local students via a tweet stating that his “District Director presented Congressional Commendations to Lake Conroe Area Republican Women scholarship winners Kimberly Boyd and Jake Hutchinson.” He congratulated them on their accomplishments here.

Later the same day, Luttrell shared another update regarding a community event. He noted the “great turnout last week for the board cutting at the new Lowe’s in Magnolia Village,” expressing pride in having his district staff present to offer support and present a Congressional Commendation here.

Morgan Luttrell was born in Houston, Texas in 1975 and currently resides in Magnolia. He graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2000.
