Congressman Morgan Luttrell (R-TX) has announced that his staff will hold mobile office hours at several locations across Texas’ 8th Congressional District in August. The initiative aims to help constituents who are experiencing issues with federal agencies.

According to the announcement, residents can seek assistance on matters related to Social Security, Medicare, federal grant funding, passports and visas, immigration and naturalization services, veterans’ benefits, and the IRS during these sessions.

The scheduled events are as follows:

– Cypress Mobile Office Hours: August 26, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Lone Star College Cy-Fair Public Library.
– Katy Mobile Office Hours: August 26, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Katy Library.
– Coldspring Mobile Office Hours: August 28, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Coldspring City Hall.
– Livingston Mobile Office Hours: August 28, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Friends of the Library in Livingston.

Constituents are encouraged to attend if they need help with any of the listed federal services.

In recent election cycles, Luttrell has secured his seat by wide margins. In the 2022 general election, he won against Laura Jones with over two-thirds of the vote. He repeated this result in 2024, again defeating Jones by a similar margin.
