Rep. Dan Crenshaw, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Texas’ 2nd district, has recently shared a series of tweets discussing significant geopolitical and domestic issues. Born in Aberdeen, Scotland, in 1984, Crenshaw has been a member of Congress since 2019 after succeeding Ted Poe.

On January 31, 2025, Rep. Crenshaw addressed concerns regarding international competition in technology. He stated: “If you’re wondering why Trump’s Stargate program matters so much, here’s the bottom line: The Chinese Communist Party—already expanding its influence through the Belt and Road Initiative—has developed DeepSeek, an AI platform that rivals our best models despite using…”.

Later on the same day, he posted another tweet containing only a link: “https://t.co/ZJIS944uN4”.

In another post on January 31, 2025, Rep. Crenshaw expressed his condolences for victims of a recent tragedy and referenced an ongoing investigation: “Please keep the families of those lost in this horrific and heartbreaking tragedy in your prayers. As the investigation continues, here’s a video that seems to lay out what likely happened based on the information currently available.”
