Rep. Dan Crenshaw, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Texas’ 2nd district, recently shared a series of tweets on personal empowerment and motivation. Known for his service since 2019 after succeeding Ted Poe, Crenshaw often uses social media to communicate with his constituents and share his views.
On May 18, 2025, Crenshaw posted about self-determination, stating “Embrace the fact that your fate is up to you – that you’re not the victim of outside forces. It’s empowering.” This tweet reflects his belief in personal agency and empowerment.
In another tweet on the same day, he advised followers to “Accomplish one thing every day, preferably at the start.” This suggestion emphasizes productivity and setting achievable daily goals.
Additionally, Crenshaw referenced McCullough in a tweet by saying “McCullough was just stating the obvious. You’ve got competition. Embrace the challenge and work harder than your peers.” This statement encourages embracing competition as a means to improve oneself.
Dan Crenshaw was born in Aberdeen, Scotland in 1984 and currently resides in Humble. He graduated from Tufts University in 2006 with a BA.
