Representative Dan Crenshaw, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, posted a series of tweets on January 13, 2026, addressing his followers with pointed remarks and rhetorical questions.

In one post, Crenshaw wrote, “If I can see it with my one eye you should be able to see it with your two.” (January 13, 2026). In another tweet from the same day, he stated, “It’s the same reaction every time.” (January 13, 2026). Later that evening, Crenshaw posted a third message: “Is the “war in Venezuela” in the room with us now?” (January 13, 2026).

Dan Crenshaw has represented Texas in Congress since first winning election in 2018. He secured reelection multiple times: defeating Todd Litton in 2018 with just over half the vote; Sima Ladjevardian in 2020 by a margin of approximately thirteen percentage points; Robin Fulford in 2022 with nearly two-thirds of the vote; and Peter Filler in 2024 by a similar margin. These consistent victories have established him as a prominent figure within his district.
