Representative Dan Crenshaw, a Republican member of Congress from Texas, addressed the topic of in vitro fertilization (IVF) and political discourse surrounding family growth in a series of posts on October 16, 2025.
In his initial statement, Crenshaw wrote, “Every family deserves the chance to grow, and expanding access to IVF is an important step toward making that possible. That’s a pretty consistent Republican condition. However, if you watched CNN’s AOC-Bernie Sanders Townhall last night (or listened to Dem messaging since” (October 16, 2025).
He followed up with two additional posts on the same day that included links: “https://t.co/73dpVd0UQj” and “https://t.co/BMZ2xLAyDY” (both October 16, 2025).
Dan Crenshaw has maintained a strong electoral record in Texas’ congressional races. In the 2024 general election, he defeated Peter Filler by securing nearly two-thirds of the vote. He also won re-election in previous cycles against Robin Fulford in 2022, Sima Ladjevardian in 2020, and Todd Litton in 2018.
