Rep. Dan Crenshaw, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Texas’ 2nd district, has shared his views on various issues through a series of tweets. Crenshaw, who succeeded Ted Poe in 2019, was born in Aberdeen, Scotland, and holds a BA from Tufts University.

On January 22, 2025, Rep. Dan Crenshaw addressed the importance of chemicals in modern society. He stated that while the term “chemicals” might make some uneasy, they are crucial for many aspects of life including medical devices and national defense. He criticized what he described as “overly complicated and mismanaged regulations.” “I know, just saying the word ‘chemicals’ makes some people uneasy, but here’s the reality—they’re absolutely essential to the modern world.”

Later that day, Crenshaw reflected on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade’s legalization of abortion nationwide and its subsequent overturning by the Dobbs decision two and a half years ago. He noted that this change returned power to states to protect unborn lives and mentioned an upcoming gathering in Washington D.C.“Fifty-two years ago today, Roe v. Wade legalized abortion nationwide… In a few days, tens of thousands will gather in D.C.”

On January 23, 2025, Crenshaw commented on a matter involving ATFHQ (Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives). He expressed skepticism about their use of titles within the organization.“Nice try @ATFHQ. But ‘senior executive’ sounds equally as pointless.”
