Representative Dan Crenshaw, a U.S. Congressman who has consistently won his Texas district since 2018, posted several comments on his X (formerly Twitter) account on October 2, 2025, addressing issues ranging from congressional votes to healthcare and alumni donations.
In one post made at 18:06 UTC, Crenshaw questioned the awareness of another lawmaker regarding recent legislative actions: “Who is this talking mannequin and why doesn’t he know that he voted against the stopgap funding bill and that his GOP colleagues ALREADY passed it? On September 19th, to be exact.”
Later that day at 18:51 UTC, Crenshaw commented on his alma mater’s practices with a sarcastic remark: “Day by day, this school finds new ways to save me money on alumni donations.”
At 22:00 UTC the same evening, he criticized the Democratic Party’s stance on healthcare for undocumented immigrants: “Yeah but we are the crazy ones for suggesting you want to give free healthcare to people here illegally. Ok Democrat party, keep gaslighting, keep losing credibility.”
Crenshaw has maintained a strong electoral presence in Texas. In the most recent election in 2024, he secured victory over Peter Filler with nearly two-thirds of the vote. He achieved similar margins in previous elections against Robin Fulford in 2022 and Sima Ladjevardian in 2020. His initial win came in 2018 against Todd Litton.
