Rep. Dan Crenshaw, a U.S. Congressman from Texas, has recently shared a series of posts on his social media account discussing national events and policy concerns.
On October 6, 2025, Crenshaw reflected on an event marking the United States Navy’s 250th anniversary in Norfolk, stating: “It was an amazing event at Norfolk yesterday celebrating 250 years of the United States Navy defending freedom. Honored to keep fighting for that same cause today alongside President Trump.”
The following day, October 7, 2025, he addressed economic issues under President Biden’s administration: “From 2021–2024, inflation under Biden peaked at 8% in June 2022 and stayed above 5% for two straight years. By the end of his term, overall prices were about 17% higher than in 2020. Mortgage rates rose from around 3% in 2020 to more than 7% in 2023, which nearly doubled the”
On October 8, 2025, Crenshaw commented on the ongoing government shutdown and its effects: “Every day Democrats keep the government shut down over their ridiculous demands, Americans are forced to pay the consequences.

Crenshaw has held his congressional seat since first winning election in 2018 and has consistently secured re-election with significant margins. In the most recent general election of 2024, he defeated Peter Filler with approximately 65.7% of the vote. Previous victories include defeating Robin Fulford in 2022 with a similar margin and Sima Ladjevardian in 2020 with over half the votes cast.
