Rep. Dan Crenshaw, a U.S. Congressman representing Texas’s 2nd district since 2019, recently posted several statements on his social media account addressing immigration enforcement and law enforcement attitudes.

On February 4, 2026, Crenshaw wrote, “The Supreme Court has long recognized the legitimacy of administrative warrants in immigration enforcement. Courts have ruled that fugitives with removal orders have a diminished expectation of privacy.”

Later the same day, he shared another post containing only a link: “https://t.co/tqqJWZcYIq”.

In a separate tweet posted at the same time, Crenshaw commented on attitudes toward law enforcement: “They hate law enforcement so much they started to literally cosplay law enforcement. https://t.co/tt3XD7rDPG”

Crenshaw has been serving in Congress since replacing Ted Poe in 2019 and currently represents Texas’s 2nd district. He has consistently secured re-election victories, defeating Peter Filler in 2024 with 65.7% of the vote, Robin Fulford in 2022 with 65.9%, Sima Ladjevardian in 2020 with 55.6%, and Todd Litton in 2018 with 52.8%.
