Representative Dan Crenshaw, a U.S. Congressman from Texas, shared several updates and reflections on his social media account in mid-January 2026.
On January 12, Crenshaw posted, “The best kind of problem to have.” The following day, he commented on recent political developments involving former President Donald Trump. On January 13, he wrote, “We may be adding yet another ‘historic day’ to President Trump’s first year… When are these tyrants going to finally believe that President Trump means what he says?”
Later the same day, Crenshaw expressed condolences regarding the passing of an individual named Scott. He stated on January 13, “Really sorry to hear this. Scott was one of the earliest guests on my podcast—sharp, funny, and always challenging the way people think. Whether you agreed with him or not, he made you think (and usually made you laugh, too). His humor and wit will be missed.”
Crenshaw has held his congressional seat since 2018. In the most recent general election in 2024, he defeated Peter Filler with 65.7% of the vote compared to Filler’s 34.3%. He previously won against Robin Fulford in 2022 with a similar margin and secured victories over Sima Ladjevardian in 2020 and Todd Litton in 2018.
