Representative Dan Crenshaw, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, posted a series of tweets on October 3, 2025, discussing recent developments regarding healthcare artificial intelligence (AI) policy and the role of federal agencies.

In one tweet from October 3, 2025, Crenshaw stated: “Last year, @RepGuthrie, @JayObernolte, @RepMMM, and I warned that the Biden HHS was handing the keys to healthcare AI over to Big Tech and hospital giants. This course correction by President Trump’s @HHSGov is exactly what we called for. The Coalition for Health AI (CHAI) https://t.co/sRbqHV9yh9”.

On the same date, Crenshaw also shared two additional tweets without further comment or explanation: “https://t.co/q6466gj3cl” and “https://t.co/bGsQhNpteg”.

Crenshaw’s remarks referenced concerns he raised with other lawmakers about federal oversight of healthcare AI under previous presidential administrations. He specifically mentioned changes made by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) under President Trump as aligning with their earlier recommendations.

Dan Crenshaw has served multiple terms in Congress after winning consecutive elections since 2018. In 2024, he won reelection against Peter Filler with approximately 65.7% of the vote; in prior cycles he defeated Robin Fulford in 2022 with a similar margin and Sima Ladjevardian in 2020 with just over half the vote share.
