Representative Dan Crenshaw, a U.S. Congressman from Texas, posted a series of tweets on October 31, 2025, addressing topics ranging from American political identity to international relations and domestic policy debates.
In his first post at 01:15 UTC, Crenshaw questioned the allegiance of an unnamed individual by stating, “You know you’re running for an AMERICAN office, right…?”.
Later that morning at 01:21 UTC, he commented on recent setbacks for drug cartels and referenced China’s involvement in Latin America. He wrote, “It’s been a rough week for cartel logistics. Mostly because their boats keep turning into confetti. But China is also getting the message. Beijing has been investing billions in Latin America—buying up ports, laying down telecom infrastructure, cozying up to corrupt”.
By the afternoon at 17:00 UTC, Crenshaw addressed claims about food stamp policies and government funding during a visit to a local food bank facility opening. He stated, “Let’s talk about the Left’s lies about food stamps. I recently toured the grand opening of the Montgomery County Food Bank’s new facility. It came just in time, since Democrats refuse to open up the government, thus drying up funding for SNAP benefits for the poor (food stamps).”
Dan Crenshaw has represented Texas in Congress since his initial election victory over Todd Litton in 2018. He subsequently won reelection against Sima Ladjevardian in 2020 with 55.6% of the vote compared to Ladjevardian’s 42.8%, against Robin Fulford in 2022 with nearly two-thirds of the vote (65.9%), and most recently defeated Peter Filler in 2024 with a similar margin of victory (65.7%).
