Rep. Dan Crenshaw, a U.S. Congressman representing Texas’ 2nd District since 2019, recently shared updates on legislative efforts through a series of tweets. Born in Aberdeen, Scotland in 1984, Crenshaw graduated from Tufts University in 2006 and currently resides in Humble.

On May 21, 2025, Crenshaw expressed confidence regarding the cessation of “radical gender ideology” being promoted to children under the guise of medicine and funded by taxpayer dollars. He highlighted the introduction of the Crenshaw Amendment as part of President Trump’s initiative to address this issue.

The following day, on May 22, Crenshaw announced that “The Big Beautiful Bill” had passed the House. He emphasized that this legislation would prevent significant tax increases scheduled for December unless action is taken. Dan Crenshaw has been serving in Congress since replacing Ted Poe in 2019 and continues his work focusing on fiscal policies and social issues affecting his constituents.
