Representative Dan Crenshaw, currently serving Texas’s 2nd district, has recently shared his views on various topics on social media. Crenshaw, who succeeded Ted Poe in 2019, has utilized the platform to engage with public opinion and legislative updates.

On April 11, 2025, Crenshaw posed a question regarding public opinion on time policy, asking, “Where do you stand on permanent Daylight Savings Time?” This inquiry highlights his interest in gathering constituents’ viewpoints on potentially adopting a year-round Daylight Savings Time.

At nearly the same time, another tweet was posted by Crenshaw featuring a link, “https://t.co/bJD77sp6B1”. Though the content of the link is not disclosed, it may reflect relevant information or a continuation of his previous tweet on time policy.

In an April 12, 2025 posting, Crenshaw addressed animal testing regulations under the FDA. He stated,“Believe it or not, the FDA currently REQUIRES the outdated and wasteful practice of animal testing.” Praising Dr. Makary at the FDA for efforts to halt these practices, he remarked on the benefits, noting sped-up product review processes and the advancement of efficient methods like computer simulations.

Dan Crenshaw has served in the U.S. Congress since 2019. Born in Aberdeen, Scotland, in 1984, Crenshaw holds a BA from Tufts University and resides in Humble.
