Congressman Morgan Luttrell, representing Texas’ 8th district since 2023, recently shared insights on social media regarding an art contest and healthcare policy. Born in Houston, Texas in 1975, Luttrell is a graduate of Sam Houston State University and currently resides in Magnolia.
On May 13, 2025, Congressman Luttrell announced the winners of an art contest. In his first post, he highlighted Kailey Greer’s work from Huntsville titled “Human Trafficking: The Price of Flesh”, which secured second place.
Shortly after, he acknowledged Angelina Harper’s creation from Cypress named “Family of Four” as the third-place winner. He expressed gratitude to all participants for their contributions to this year’s contest.
The following day, on May 14, 2025, Congressman Luttrell addressed Medicaid’s role as a crucial support system for vulnerable groups such as pregnant women and low-income seniors. He stated his commitment to working with President Biden to “protect and strengthen it” while preventing misuse by illegal aliens and scammers.
Morgan Luttrell has been actively involved in legislative matters concerning health policies and community engagement through artistic initiatives since taking office.
